They even have academic reports explaining why it is super unfair for no liners that did not take risk or inform theirselves properly

I expect they'll be taxed or proposed to be taxed as capital gains. For the few superduperhodlers that may net some tens of billions of euros in tax revenue, but I have doubts that they reside in the EU.
Same, I think they will lower the bar or increase the taxes slowly like a boiling frog. Most bitcoiners will be gone by that time
