This note brought a thought to mind.

Retirement is one large scam. You slave away at a job you hate so that one day you can do the things you wanna do now. Except by then you'll be too old to enjoy it.

I don't think I'll ever retire. But that's because I find myself staring into a void of apathy and disappointment if I sit around and do nothing. I need to be doing. I need to be creating and working.

I'd go mad with nothing to do. So I work.

I work at my day job. I work on my side hustles. I work on my creative pursuits. And even when I'm in my 60's or 70's, I'd still want to do something with my time.

Retirement is a scam. Life is good right now. Why not enjoy it while you work?

And if you hate your job, then that's a sign that you need to find another one.
