Okay I shared something about Alby but missed the deal with what happened. Can someone fill me in because I feel like the US is screwing up another good thing because it's a money and control grab

As far as I can grasp, they are at some point eventually nuking the free tier of their service. I don't use them, so that's really all I can gather from comments.
