What's going on with the "invalid Lightning address" error in the zap sheet?

General feeling: zapping has gotten overly complex. I miss the simple tap-to-zap.

It’s def a lot slower now.

But those errors just weren’t being reported. It would just silently fail. Now we see them at least.
