Why must it be so difficult to make more urban transit in the USA. No matter your opinion, the USA should not be so behind on transit.
Word - transit is awesome and essential for a connected region, but expensive especially where core infrastructure is missing. this $$ is often hard to come by, even more so the $$ necessary to maintain, staff and operate. I’d like to see private-public partnerships to plan for autonomous transit esp. for the last-mile part of most people’s trips. Ride, pay, advocate for better transit :)
