I am 300 pages into the new #WindandTruth from Sanderson, and story-wise, I am enjoying it aside from all the woke nonsense I feel is so out of place.
It's very disappointing and surprising as this one seems so much more in your face than all the other.
I understand that "fantasy" probably tends to lean woke, and he probably got pressure to do it, but it's so blatant in this one that it seems like more bending the knee than anything else.
I find it distracting.

I’m still going to finish and at least at where I am it’s more distracting than anything else — the story outside of it I am still enjoying
