It's really dependent on the client man.
Usually it's just by putting an @ & then start typing their handle.
It is a bit flakey - sometimes i think your client hasn't quite figured out who you care about (your follows) to match to the handle. It also used to be case sensitive in some clients but increasingly less so.
Typing @ & then pasting their xpub is another way.
We're all just muddling our way through this 🤙

I've gone from Boltpay to WoS & now I'm using the LNtipbot as per these instructions:

Good test - I found that I had an additional wallet setup in my profile that I didn't know about (my wallet - I just thought that I had changed it).

Zaps from the profile seem to be anonymous.
Zaps on posts should be a bit more visible.
The only way I see is to leave a message in the note of the tip. I might muck around with WOS in TestFlight tomorrow for this zap malarkey. 👍🏻
