For those who are slowly stacking sats I often hear dismay that it’s too hard to build up to 1 BTC.

1 BTC, 100 million sats etc isn’t really the point and is just an arbitrary goal.

The goal or rather the direction is to build up your stack at your pace.

Saving is simple and hard at the same time.

Fuck the noise about “getting to 6.15 before the apocalypse”. That’s high time preference garbage. Go at your own pace and take care of yourself and family.

The signal is discipline, consistency, and understanding.

And for the love of God, please ease off the candle charts.

Getting started is hard, as most likely you set very high expectations and change doesn't happen overnight. Consistency is key, slow and steady wins the race, there is no shortcut ✌️

Absolutely.

My journey is a bit embarrassing as I looked into it then freaked when I saw the Bitcoin client was going to fill my hard drive (was too dumb to figure out pruned nodes).

Did some shitcoinery alongside Bitcoin and my aha moment was when I first took self custody from an exchange.

I read “Mastering Bitcoin” and “Bitcoin standard” and it all started coming together for me.

I’m still a dumb fuck but a dumb fuck with a Bitcoin and lightning node and a much lower time preference.
