I agree... We gaslight ourselves into pretending we did not see. Amazing how our mind works when we are not healed. We shut down our heart and listen to the mind lies. But it's all lessons until we are ready.
I now, tend to think when I see someone stuck on an ex : "Trauma bond". Can't help myself.
But, also I am aware that we all of us can only see and awake when we are ready. No amount of words or advice works when we choose to stay blind.
