Even if you are an accredited investor, youd still want to have a nice stack of sats before moving from liquid, self-custody, pristine BTC to completely illiquid, long dated, derivative of BTC which is what bitcoin VC is. IMO.

Unless of course you have paper hands - even then id argue a multi sig with a trusted accountability partner is better than VC lp shares.

What is the right amount of btc before taking a slice out for this kind of thing? Likely many differing opinions.

You are totally right. I think it is more for people who don't have to worry about money anymore. My stack definitely isn't high enough for me to invest in Bitcoin VCs lol.

I respect Odell, Michael Saylor etc. for advising us plebs to invest in Bitcoin rather than their companies.
