I can't get NFC to work with nunchuk at all. Either on Android or iOS. I even tried a generic NFC reader. Maybe my cold card isn't putting a signal out? NFC definitely enabled.

Hey! You may have to go into your CC device settings and switch the NFC function to ON since it is OFF by default.
Alternatively, you may have to try a few times to get Nunchuk to recognize it. We found that laying the Coldcard down and putting your phone on top helps a lot.
Thanks for checking in! I tried turning it off and turning it back on again (shows a check mark) and still no go.
I looked up where my phone NFC chip is from the official diagram and placed it over the 8 key. I also tried removing the cold card lid from the back and turning things upside down, right side up etc, moving things around.
Occasionally after like 30 seconds there will be a beep from the phone and the CC will leave the NFC screen, but nothing is imported.
The one time I got it to register on the generic NFC reader, the reader just threw an error that "this format is not yet supported"
On my iphone I have had no success at all.
Try laying the Coldcard face up on a flat surface and lay your phone on top of it not to disrupt the connection. It is a bit finicky but you’ll get it! Here’s a video that may also help: https://youtu.be/DqpHdzer1tU
The android is a pixel with super strong NFC, it works from like 6 inches away at stores.
This is really going poorly. My friend got one too and he can't get his working either 🤔
It has to right? When you setup the wallet the ColdCard signs the new wallet.
Mine is finicky on outbound signature but works fine on the wallet setup
