ESP32-S2 works as well! Cost is 9+3 euro (and well, maybe 1 euro for the filament for the 3D printed case?) #OrangeClock nostr:npub16cpe069rjz6pm5t42xcyhcn66f5rr04k64df3g03fk2wctlrlhsqycedcd the case is screwless too. Next version I want to put the S2 mini inside the case as well. nostr:note1s04nwpjwrpdg7muaa57sg4wyc69t7fuj7983g6mxtaa7w832rv7qvhgzma

Great work nostr:npub1k5f85zx0xdskyayqpfpc0zq6n7vwqjuuxugkayk72fgynp34cs3qfcvqg2 🧡 I love that concept!

I haven't found any components that are that cheap yet.

Unfortunately, the ESP32 is not so easy to plug and play with the display for people who do not want to deal with soldering and wires

It’s the same ePaper display I’m using in the #BTClock, but then the 2.9 inch version:

The ESP32 is the Wemos S2 mini.

Let's see how this will work out for the people who do not want to deal with wires :)

that is a great solution 😁
