Knee injuries suck.
Discussion
They sure do... I have many miles and many knee injuries on this body
running, lifting, bjj or something else?
A lifetime of playing tennis and soccer, started running again, and just picked up golfing (usually walk the course)
Ahh I see. I didnt know tennis player get knee injuries but now typing it out I can see how all that gazelle movements would make the prone to injuries.
Micro tear on ACL while playing tennis in college. Patella tendinitis playing tennis in High School. Torn ACL playing indoor soccer. Recently, torn both meniscus building a deck or with my running (not sure what caused this)
Slew of other small stuff like low grade hamstring pulls and bone bruises playing soccer.
Like I said, many miles on these legs.
It's the price we pay for the things we love to do eh? We get active there's injuries, we loft around and we pose risk for morbidity issues. Life's cruel like that.
I wouldnt have it any other way... I've always said I want my last breath taken on a tennis court. At this rate, taking a tree down next to power lines is more likely to happen to me
