There seems to be a sweet spot where generative AI can be useful while ensuring people’s creativity is still rewarded. I think if it can remove the grunt work, repetitive tasks, I am all for it.

The line has to be drawn on what exactly it means to bake AI into people’s workflows so that we aren’t sacrificing our human talent.

in several of these examples it seems like a self-correcting problem. the resulting games will most likely be of lower quality, the businesses will suffer or fail, and some studios that know the value of an artistic process will be able to thread their way through what is useful about AI to artists and developers and what is trash.

But then I like games like Braid so what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
