Understood. So have you given some thought to how to implement a totally decentralized search engine?
I was just discussing this with a friend on Saturday night...
Thinking about how it could be unbiased...
If you had a large enough collection of biased individuals, as long as everyone was biased in different directions, you'd still index everything out there...
If the source code is unbiased, as long as the users don't tamper with it, that would help as well.
It's a really hard problem, but I think multi-master is probably the right approach, and maybe DVMs/NIP 89 can help, although sybil attacks are probably always going to be a thing. Special-purpose solutions might involve DHTs or blockchains or whatnot, but yeah, tricky.
