GM! The feeling I have regarding the proposed changes for #Bitcoin is the same as when Ethereum changed from POW to POS, that is, it will only be interesting for the minority, who may jump ship. It is better for us if they jump ship now and test their ideas on another shitcoin.
Difficulty-adjusted PoW is good for scarcity. UTxO model is good for privacy. Halving is good for censorship resistance. Blocksize limits are good for cheap validation. Even with a time machine, there aren't many cheap improvements we could make on Satoshi's design. Impressive.
