there was a solar magnetic event about 4 days ago that is strongly associated with triggering seismic events, this is the 4th i have heard of since learning about it

well, earthquakes happen because of similar reasons as cracks spreading across a windshield after a rock hits it

hot, cold, vibrations, pressure, weight
