My comment on the hair style locks: they are heavier than normal hair. They require way more management than people with unkinky hair even realize, on the level of daily washing and bagging at night so they don't smell like unwashed b.o. and frizz like you aren't spending your life maintaining your hairstyle. they require upkeep to look nice, daily and/or weekly depending on whether you upkeep them yourself or hire out. If you fail you smell like an unwashed dog and try to use patchouli or whatever to cover the stench and that doesn't work, it just gives patchouli a bad rap (an essential oil I cannot stand). Locks are not a joke in any way shape or form.
