Because of the law in 2018 that made cannabis a little bit more lenient. Alcohol has been losing profits. So now they're trying to backtrack on the cannabis laws in America.
The Cannabis Industry did about $47 billion this year, alcoholic beverages industry did like $363B this year, follow the money I guess.
But I heard that alcohol sales have been actually decreasing a lot and that the cannabis industry was thriving so.

I knew someone online that was put in jail for selling weed, he only got 11 months and then walked free, he said it was a wild experience and changed his perspective on life itself.

Jail will do that to you. Definitely will a lot of dudes from the hood Don't learn because that's all they know. When you live in the streets in some neighborhoods is like living in jail.
