For personal use, I like Bitvora's Haven. Obviously, the hardness will depend on your familiarity with CLI based setup. But it's very well documented.

All in all easiest ease would be Nostr-relay-tray, but you have to feel comfortable hooking up a stranger's proxy to your machine to make it public:

Thanks. I've tried a few #nostr relays now.

#strfry seems to be good for local relays, is easy to set up, and doesn't require a database. Easy to back up.

#nostr-rs-relay is also easy to set up, has a nice configuration file, and uses an SQLite database. Also easy to back up.
