I'm not sure where this myth came from.
No, apps don't "win" because of UI, and there is no magic UI configuration which will bring the "masses" the fame seekers and venture capitalists want. That kind of "winning" happens because they were first, the got famous people to market for them, they went viral for some reason, or they offer something unique.
This idea that nostr will become widely used because of perfect UI is a myth.
That all reminds me of people buying Doge coin because "the look is more appealing" 😁😂
It's not so important to have a "good" design, JUST DON'T HAVE A BAD UI / DESIGN. (Anybody remembers Windows XP design? The Bubble-design? 😄 Or vista looked like shit to if I remember correctly).
The lesser eye candy, the better. Non intrusive UI. Like your tools or in your kitchen. Just a button where a button is needed, nothing fancy and you're fine.
