I'm a bit late, but every year I post my top #books of the previous year on Facebook. Since I'm not on Facebook anymore I guess I might as well do it here. My top books are those read by me for the first time regardless of the year they were published. I include one Fiction & Non-Ficiton as well as an audio book of the year.

Best #Audiobook - Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton [1990]

I read Jurassic Park for the first time last year and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it especially given that I’d seen the movie countless times.

Yeah. I was so impressed by Crichton's knowledge of the science, or his really good BS that made it sound like he was knowledgeable, it seemed so much more believable than the movie.

Same. It surprised me that so much of the science was in the book. And definitely agree it was more believable than the movie. Glad I read it.

I think I have another of his on my bookshelf somewhere that I’ll get to one day!
