My 92 Camaro RS was embarrassingly slow. I still wonder how they managed to underpower a 5.0 that badly.
Lol. We put a 502 in one of those. Blew one of the t-tops out of it. (Very flexible chassis)
However, the 305 small block was boat anchor due to a large number of factors. Most of them being design by bureaucracy.
(If you can find one now and apply current technology, they're surprisingly capable)
