I like Gnome 4 but those spendings they gonna end make it things worse. I get the hate on Gnome actually but at least they still trying to make the best hybrid desktop tablet experience. Kde is nice for more traditional approach which I like too. to be honest in my time experiencing linux I ended liking both, yet hard to choose which one to stick most of the time, I did franken desktop between both, but that not ended so well cosmetic aspects is where things no liked.
