With all the talk of moderation, wouldn’t a good starting mute list just take care of 90% of issues? Combined with starter web of trust, we wouldn’t see any undesirable content, with full optionality to turn it all off for the most extreme type of feed.

yes.

ive muted very few accounts (a handful of autoreply spammers), and with recent hidden words feature in amethyst ive eliminated short term topic based spam attacks from view. its still a waste of network resources but no good way to resolve that
