To help visualize that: If there were only 10000 Bitcoin in total, in the year 2048, only 1 new Bitcoin would be mined. Your wealth would be diluted by 0.01% by newly mined supply.
Wealth can last. Wealth stored in Bitcoin may just last longer than humanity itself does.
