die surrounded by descendants who will never amount to anything.

It is better to be of service to all than it is to be of service to a select few simply because those few are genetically attached to your ego.

Unconditional love means loving your neighbor as yourself. If you love your own children more than everyone else in the world, you don’t get Christ’s teachings.
