The biggest problem with politics is not broken promises but the implementation of laws that benefit the ideologies of the existing regime failing to think ahead what will happen if a different regime steps in with different ideologies and exploits those laws to achieve a certain objective effecting generations who never even voted for the law in the 1st place.
