Understanding something early isn’t always “luck.”

Sometimes it’s simply being conscious, open, and aligned enough to learn when the opportunity presents itself.

I first heard about Bitcoin in 2017 and ignored it.

My mind wasn’t open yet.

Pain has a way of changing that—pain is often the greatest teacher. By 2024, I finally hit the point where I had to understand what was happening around me. That discomfort cracked me open just enough to truly see Bitcoin.

Since then, I’ve shared Bitcoin with so many people. A few recognize what a gift that knowledge is. Most don’t—yet. And that’s okay.

But is it “fair” that someday, when the masses finally wake up to Bitcoin, they’ll look at early adopters and call it “luck”?

No.

It wasn’t luck.

I was awake.

I chose to pay attention.

I invited others to wake up too.

Everyone arrives at Bitcoin in their own time, in their own season, through their own lessons.

Godspeed to all on that journey. 🟧

being at the right place in life at the right time with the right mindset and with the ability to recognize all this *and* act the right way i still call luck.

the luck of having it all aligned.

i talk about 2011 kind of luck not the 2024's

That definitely makes sense. It would be rare for all of those things you mentioned to align. One thing is forsure - it’s not luck to hodl 365 days a year for 10+ years.
