I'm also an old fart so I get you. Right now, I'm looking for niche accounts, non-influencers, so to speak. I believe in the importance of Nostr, but it needs a lot of other stuff to attract people.
Discussion
I totally agree.
I used Reddit from 2008 til 2015 and really got a lot out of all the subreddits from fermentation and bushcraft to photography, knolling and Eli5, then when I got into Bitcoin twitter made sense because I could see what the smartest people were talking about and could also learn about finance.
I left Twitter early in the year because Nostr began to fulfill both of those needs.
I find niche communities through search’s and hashtags and looking profiles of people who respond in interesting threads.
How are you thinking about sharing train journeys? Through text or images or both or neither?
Some pictures here and there won't hurt anyone but I want to begin with generalities. For example, on Wednesday, SNCF (French railway) starts the ticket sale for January 9th to March 29th. I could write a little about that and add a few examples, maybe even suggestions for lower prices.
The train system that I know best is the one in Austria, where I live, and I can provide tips for reducing the prices, routes, etc. Then, the ones I use most, outside of Austria, are from Italy and France.
Sounds good!
