Happy to announce the release of a new NIP7 Chrome extension based on NOS2X but with a cleaner UI/UX and support for multiple accounts. And yes, it is open-source.

Thanks to nostr:npub12f0c4qf80c5dmdhch2cvaw5x2mc8ckz8xrn5jvdzjs4545jepyus0eaw8d for the development effort and to nostr:npub1gm7tuvr9atc6u7q3gevjfeyfyvmrlul4y67k7u7hcxztz67ceexs078rf6 for help in testing and feedback.

Check out https://keys.band/ to learn more and for a link to the Chrome Web Store listing.

Also, heads up that it works flawlessly (afaik) at https://iris.to and https://highlighter.com but not all clients have been tested and, even for the clients with NIP7 support advertised, some do not appear to have this NIP implemented correctly.

nostr:npub10fu0hlkx3s4n4dsgfu0cpqephga4afr4qtzpz9vsyqf7vj88v2yqdp8vp4 please feel free to list on whynostr.com (and thanks!).

Any plans for Firefox?

Haven’t looked enough to know how much work that would be. I guess we’ll see if the Chrome version gets any traction.

To add to this while I use almost exclusively FF, Chrome appears to be 40 times more popular. It makes sense to start there.
