Well it's useless now....

Bill 4592 says the Secretary of State will be allowed to issue digital Identification cards or digital driver’s licenses. Though digital IDs can be issued, physical IDs will still be required in Illinois.

The bill goes on to say that agencies and private business will not be required to accept digital IDs.
