There is a lack of ecucation concerning this issue. Using new adresses is good obviously, but only for amounts big enough. Which is difficult to define btw... I'd say the minimum is 1M, the better 5M sats for one UTXO.
New address is an absolute minimum and not only for bigger amounts. This all depends what you use bitcoin for that determines your utxo management. It's very naunced
