Thirty six years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, new walls have been built.
They no longer divide cities, but minds.
In 1989, millions of people showed that no wall is stronger than the will to be free. That moment marked not only the end of an era but the beginning of a conviction: when people stand together for truth and dignity, no system of control can last.
Today, the walls are harder to see but just as real. They are built with lies, fear, and silence. They rise whenever someone is punished for speaking or forced to hide what they believe.
Yet freedom always finds a way. It crosses borders, survives exile, and outlives those who try to destroy it.
The fall of the Berlin Wall reminds us that every wall eventually falls, and that freedom, even when it seems cornered, always returns.
