Is that the premise of the Fourth Turning book , I had seen someone posting about it earlier , it might have even been you , can't remember .
There is a similar idea about the shelf life of empires in the opening chapter of Tragedy and Hope by Caroll Quigley .
Pretty much. Although it combines 80 year cycles aswell so there is a few things aligning. Worth a read.
