Biased perception of the world is actually a beneficial strategy. That's why it evolved. When you see the world in a way that benefits you, your chances of survival and reproduction go up.

But there is a catch. If you don't know what the actual reality is, your perception may be so delusional that it will harm or even destroy you.

If you can be as objective as possible, acquiring information from many sources and can build a version of reality that is very close to the real one, you can then build a reality that benefits you on top of that.

And it is very important, because certain things can't be done in the objective reality.

For example. If you want to become the best tennis player in the world, you need crazy obsession with tennis, and for that, you need to know that you are the best, even before it becomes reality.

So, you understand the real world first, knowing that the best are living tennis, obsessed with it, love it, breathe it... Then, you create a biased version that benefits you, where you know that you are the best player. And now, because you are the best, you start behaving like the best, living it, breathing it...

And you become the best! 🔥🔥🔥
