Question for Lightning noderunners and Lightning builders:
Will most Lightning-enabled apps/wallets employ “just works” payments infra (no explicit channel management, liquidity provisioning, or pathfinding tuning)…
1️⃣ This year; it’s already happening
2️⃣ in 2–4 years; it’s inevitable
3️⃣ > 5 years to never; it’s not feasible

Not an expert but I loved the simplicity of wallet of Satoshi. Channel management is not for everyone. We can’t ask normal people to do that.
For end users, no question. I’m referring to those building end user apps.
"just works" is great and really needed for mass adoption.
Also really need sovereignty solutions. Not relying on third parties. No entity that can be attacked (by governments, bad actors, etc). There's got to be a better way than what we have now. Think deep builders.
