Anyway I found strange that bitcoiners from early cycles do not care of the evolution of the protocol, or are not updating their knowledge as it evolves..

Probably the difference is in previous cycles there was not as many services and optionality to use #bitcoin and the majority keep seeing it as store of value and not also as medium of exchange.
