Got to see a real treat on the weekend.

The Martin Hawaii Mars seaplane up close and personal at it's final resting place. The British Columbia Aviation Museum.

Built in the late1940's as a troop and cargo transport it was converted in the 1950's as a water bomber for the BC forestry industry before being retired in 2015. It's an monster of engineering and an incredible piece of aviation history.
