Most people think they’ll finally be happy
once they reach a certain goal.
Once they earn more.
Once they find love.
Once they feel successful.
Once they prove themselves.
So they keep climbing one mountain
only to find another behind it.
And they keep telling themselves
that then they will be happy.
Later. After. Someday.
But that moment never really comes.
Because the mind always moves the target.
There is always something more to do,
something missing, something next.
So what if happiness is not a finish line?
What if it is how you walk?
How you breathe?
How you show up
right now
even in the process,
even when nothing is complete yet?
Because if you are always postponing joy
you will never live it.
And if you cannot feel it now,
you will not feel it then either.
Happiness is not the reward.
It is the way.
