Over the weekend, there were multiple fatal incidents in Alabama, Mississippi, Indianapolis, Peoria, and Rio Rancho. In Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, a 27-year-old man named Reyes M. Lugo was killed in a car crash on Saturday night. Lugo's vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is still investigating the crash .
In Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, an 18-year-old named Titus Holmes was killed in a one-vehicle wreck on Sunday. The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Caleb Avants, was charged with DUI causing death. Three other male passengers, ages 20-21, were injured and transported to area hospitals. The conditions of the injured are currently unknown.
