Am I right to assume the hardware on the ledger S nano is not able to be accessed by the software.

What's everyone's take on this , I feel the same thing could happen with trezor and other companies, and may already be happening.

Yah, I seem to get the impression the nano s is missing some bit of hardware or memory, and is probably still a legitimate device, but think ledger live might still have an attack vector possible.

I can't remember the last time I plugged mine in. Probably won't for 7-22 years from now. By then I'll know what's up.
