Hey nostr:npub1sden9s5dj8ccj0u2erg9g5vxpe2duwcnhyv3spnhcpvd8p03ufhsrn75z3 or others posting in #homesteading what’s a good automatic coop door that will fit turkeys? Looks like $300 price for anything big enough but I’m hoping to not have to spend that much.

Run Chicken has a “giant” model that is supposed to accommodate birds up to 86lbs. Currently on sale for $240 with an extra 10% off if you sign up for their newsletter. I have the “Eternal” model and it’s only failed to open once, when it was absolutely caked in poop. It’s operated down to 2F with ice and snow. Bought it last fall.

Although I could use that if it comes in chicken size, my sheep rammed my chicken coop door yesterday, put a dent in it
