What's stopping you from self hosting your nip05?

Only benefit in using your personal domain for a Nip-05 address is if you're a celebrity and want to proof your identify. Example, there is a Michael Sailor Nostr profile, just copying tweets, even earnings zaps for that! I would expect a microstrategy Nip-05 and lightning address, otherwise I consider the profile a fake.
But, why a simple pleb need that? Convince me why I should still do it π€

Because you have control over the domain, and the nostr.json file, that the nip(s) point to the correct pubkey.
Ie. You are not getting rugged.
