Mempools might not be as full as a few months ago but it’s far from empty. Would take 10 hours of zero new transactions to clear.

There are 1,500 transactions pending. With over 2,000 transactions cleared per block we are a quick block away from clearing the pool.
I’m seeing ~28,000 pending in mempool.space, and the mempool still isn’t close to clear two days later.
What are you using that is showing you only 1,500 pending?

Had same data. Popped back up to 25k today but was under 1000 yesterday. Don't think it ever totally cleared. If it did I missed it.
