Swale and berm dug about 3 years ago to help slow/sink the water that was flooding the house. Now full of annual veg, fruit trees, medicinals, and 15’ volunteer sunflowers!

Here is a before and present of the berm with the bridge over the swale. I don’t irrigate any of this and it survives Texas heat thanks to the deep mulch
