Damn your block list is a lot longer than mine 🀣

That’s only to the Ps.

You should specify for which client this feature should be developed for.

Could build a DVM for that in the coming days

Is it currently nostrich.house or are there more known bot farms?

This is the only one I’m encountering, and it’s enough. I’ve blocked ~100 from this domain.

Ok then I'll start with this and make it extendable

Ser, check https://noogle.lol/filter

Login, use Bot Hunter DVM. Give it some seconds to process, mute individually or mute all.

This requires a client that uses current nip51 mute lists (afaik Damus doesn't right now)

Don't mind the ui gaps, need to fix this, but it *should* work.

Does this do what you asked for?

I can definitely see his problem, LOL. trying it now also

I can login with nsec.app and get this list. After selecting "mute all" it seems to process correctly and ends with "done, try again". When opening Amethyst first time it did show the bots still, nothing added in blocklist.

This can be because me with nsec.app and Amethyst didn't do everything right

We've fixed some issues with nsec.app+noogle.lol, could you please try again?

It works like a charm now!

It now also checks for the red Dan accounts

Still can’t get it to work via extension login. 😒

I’m not able to sign in using Safari iOS and Nostore.

I haven't and can't test this combo unfortunately

I’ll try on desktop later. Also, the DVMs are infinitely loading in Safari.

Blocking is not the answer. Endorsing is.

Endorsing is OPT-IN. Blocking is FILTER-OUT.

Blocking catches good people in the filter and creates the same censorship issues as legacy platforms.

Endorsing requires someone on the inside to vet and allow a new person into the trust circle. Like a FB group, Reddit sub, etc. Endorsing is the key to solving spam.

So post a bounty for it.

my block list keeps getting shorter

little hint, prune your follows and you have less to block... i have some 38 or so pristine, perfect follows, and i'm about to delete my block list

Negative. This is a bot farm. Unrelated.

Honestly not even mad at the person behind it. The fact they've announced themselves with a domain means less likely malicious intent. Anyway, it should be expected from the nature of the protocol, but that doesn't mean i should see it nor go through the tedious act of muting filterable accounts. Give users fine grained filter control.

I am in complete agreement. They should feel free, *and* they should fuck off. πŸ˜‰
