One of my biggest disappointments in the wallet space is how little they pay attention to integrations with bookkeeping, tax and reporting systems.

My QuickBooks opens all my bank accounts and imports all transactions automatically to me so that I can move them to the right tax buckets.

Why can't we have that with ALL lightning wallets?

This isn't rocket science.

works great. lots of benefits to running your own node.

It would be nice if it exported into things like Gnucash. I have 1000s of accounts there to move things into. :(

Ask chatgpt to give you a Python scipt to convert from one to the other, or use the QBO api to access the data and export it to another system (like frontaccounting). You don't need to commit to it, export your data and see if you like the new software.
