I liked the video, but I don't know if it's fair to call it "Millennial Writing". Remember that joke in schools where a guest speaker would tell you how uncool it was to smoke weed and own guns, but he was 'down with the youths' and supposed to be super relatable. I feel like those are the guys being hired to write. I guess he kinda touches on that at the end though.

Great observation! This makes the laugh look like it came from a smoking gun that left the blame on millennials, instead of calling out how unimaginative some writers are sometimes coming up with cookie-cutter materials. I'll certainly keep that comparison in mind when making my observations about stand-up comedians now. Thanks for bringing it up and hope you're sharing zaps!
