No way! Are they worth the cost? What happens if I record a video of myself? They work as advertised? How is the fit?
Face detection will not see you, because these systems can't see your eyes.
For the record, I tried them all but I use R/x glass

i want them but with a little lithium battery and an array of extremely bright array of IR dazzler LEDs for maximum effect
though tbh i'm very rarely in a place with cameras that i care about them seeing me (mostly private individuals or shop surveillance cameras)
if someone devised a thing like a cats-eye but specially in IR spectra i'd probably put some of the jewellery back in my face, i have labrets and a septum piercing that i haven't worn anything in for ages, but if my jewellery dazzled infrared that'd be even better than a special light... hell i'd get a couple of implants around my brow as well to make sure it breaks the brow line recognition
oh oh... btw... IR dazzlers fuck up digital photographs of all kinds as well, they show as bright white lights
